is it my pump or my new faucet?
My kitchen faucet froze and cracked. Replaced with new one.My pump hammered like crazy.Company said it was a "green" faucet..conserve water use. Okay..bought and installed another one--Phoenix guarant...

Although hammering is kind of off topic I find that during the winter, my water system will get some vibrating rattle from the pulsing pump, more than summer. Cold plastic v/s warm. Even with my expansion tank I get some.... I have Isolated the tubing in various places reduced some of the rattle but not all.
It might be advantageous for the OP to check his water pressure when the pump is running.
Depending on the pump the pressure should be over 20 but less than ??
