So, hello to all and again thanks for your help and for reading my post. I woke up this morning to absolutely no hot water at all - zip, zilch, zero, nada. Brrrrrrrrrrr. I went out to the controls and wires and wiggled a couple of wires and the gas side would lite for just a second or two and then shut off. I went into the RV and shut the switches off for gas and electric and went back out to the control panel. In my typically heavy handed ham fisted approach to things I broke the end right off of the ECO switch and when I took out the temp switch it literally fell apart as it cleared the retainers. I went to the local RV house and picked up a new set of switches ($40.00 for five dollars worth of parts!!). I put new connectors on the wires to replace the original ones as they were all in pretty rough shape. Buttoned everything back up and went in and flipped the gas switch on and left the electric side off for now. The burner lit up right away and continued to run for about twenty minutes or so and glory be! I had hot water! I didn't hear the gas fire again until it ran to warm the water back up to temp. It no longer ran every few minutes for just a few seconds. I do believe that my problem is fixed!
Thanks, thanks, thanks!
