I am aware of industrial valves. Of course here we are talking about finding another brand or design that would be a simple bolt in replacement. At one time there were several brands available.
The problem area that I was trying to point out is the area where the blade resides when it is pulled out. That rectangular portion can accumulate debris because there are gaps allowing it in. Flushing, back flushing or whatever we might call it will only add pressure to force more unwanted material in. Once in there, it would be next to impossible to remove it.
