Is There a New More Efficient Solar Panel Coming?

Today I heard talk of a more efficient solar panel on the market now,.....to the tune of a 10 amp 100 watt panel. Is this possible ? Seems I remember such a thing was talked about here a while back. ...

I think RJ may have been hearing about concentrators becoming economical or else the spectrum splitter whatsits.

Panel efficiency should be distinguished from economical efficiency (money side of things) where both are part of "system efficiency."
