I wonder if an 1800 RPM water cooled diesel genny buried deep inside some Class A motorhomes is what I don't hear sometimes until standing literally right beside the rig? Boy some of those are quiet ... just a low frequency and very muffled, unlabored, humming sound ... similar in sound type, but quieter than, an EX650 . One of those could be camped right beside us and run all night and it wouldn't bother me in the least.
FWIW, our camping companions also use an EX650 for battery charging in their RV - often while also watching evening TV. We onced parked our two motorhomes in spots adjoining the campground host and our friends ran their EX650 past quiet hours and the host did/said/or heard nothing. Another time our friends were running it and some other campers stopped by to talk about it ... saying they had never heard a portable camping generator that quiet. That had noticed that it was a red Honda.
