Jump Starter

Looking for a recommendation for a portable jump starter and air compressor.

Hadn't really done any research on this yet. But that does sound like a dead end.
  • I have jump-started vehicles from my generator and a Schumacher charger. Not fast, but does the job, and it won't fry a vehicle's engine by the voltage spikes from connecting/disconnecting battery cables.
  • I bought a everstart maxx i am thinking like 7 years ago, at the time it was like 70 bucks vs cheap ones that were around 30 bucks. I have used this thing over and over again and it has never let me down. I am expecting it to die pretty quick just because of age but I will definitely replace with a new one if I can find the same one again. It has had enough power to start many vehicles completely dead batteries (lights left on etc) even in 0 degree weather.

It says on the front EverStart maxx Jump STARTER 600 amp starting power 22 amp hour battery.

I used one of these for years when I was tent camping but like said above they are not dependable to use for AUX 12VDC source...

After the new wears off they would not hold a good charge...

Depending on what you want to jump start most portable jump starters are under powered.

They may be fine for your toad but not so much for a diesel coach.
