I hope he did not use an adapter plugged into 220v welder plug
In case the OP is not aware, he should be informed
RVs are 4 wire , grd, neutral and two 120v hot legs
Not 3 wire grd and two hots, No Neutral
Serious damage results to the RV when plugged into the wrong service
