You just joined. You need to understand that ALL Motorhomes and RV;s are different. You need to state Year/Brand/Model of RV when you post for help. Usually when you have a 12 volt switch that is HOT to the touch, 2 things can cause that.
1. IF the switch has a light in it, it is normal for those to get hot to the touch
2. IF no light, then the connections on the back side are loose/corroded/burnt and this causes heat build up on a 12 volt switch. Your switch is 12 volts, not 120 volts. Take the switch loose and look at the back and if loose/corroded/burnt, it will be noticeable. The defective circuit will not cause any problems other than if it continues, will blow the 12 volt fuse for that light. Doug

The bathroom light switches are 12V as stated earlier. No lights in them so probably a corroded switch. Just pull it out and check it. Can order exact replacements from Newmar or get something the looks really close and works just fine from RV parts store or online.
BTW, Newmar ships things quickly. I usually get them in 1 or 2 days.
