OP here,
No I already have the LED lights along the awning and the hole would be about three feet short from the end of the awning.
I just got back from Lowe's where I purchased the 3M 5200 sealant in white. Tomorrow I will fill the hole carefully and after it cures put a small dab of tan paint on it. Like I said it is up so high once filled and touched up with tan paint I'm hoping that it won't really be noticeable.
