The funny thing is, in winter I need do nothing; I get more than enough from the solar panels on the roof. In summer, however, I have to plug in as the trees have leaves and the drive is well shaded.
All of this assumes (there's that word) of course, that you have a reasonably modern charger(s) that does a true float charge.
