The weaker battery will soak up most of, if not all, of the charging current.
Even if it does, does that mean the stronger battery won't get enough?
The usual story is that with all the power from the float charger, each in parallel will get what it needs and be ok. Where you get trouble is leaving the two in parallel with no float charger.
