Keeping the fridge cold on hot weekends
Our freezer can make a block of ice in 8 hours. But the fridge runs marginal on hot days. I installed a computer fan in the cavity above the fridge to help vent hot air. But the best solution thus far...

You've got to teach the family to get in and get out!
No looking around to see what's in the fridge with the door open like they do at home. Cold is lost from too many and long openings with an RV fridge.
When I have guests the beer goes into a cooler filled with ice outside the RV. Beer DOES taste better when on ice anyway! :C
