Keystone Cougar slide-outs
Is it possible for a DIY to adjust the slides, starting to wear the carpet and scratch the flooring. I think I figured out how to do it, just wandering if anyone has done it. The dealer is 2 hrs. away...

Hi! I can not find any tags for mfg. under slide. It has a rack and pinion gear system that is exposed on the frame, and a round screw shaft that seems to be rubbing on the frame. My thought was to set the slide about mid-way, put a jack under the outside wall, to take some of the strain off the slide, loosen the bolts, and adjust the wall up. It looks like someone tried this before because some of the adjusting hardware is bent, that's the reason for the jacks. I figure to go slow and take lots of measurements as I go. I'll post this evening for update.
