- Get something of actual value and it will clip direct on the battery.
- CJW8ExplorerI just bought one of these air compressors for my step son's new RV. it has a 15 foot cord and a 4 foot hose. It is also a twin cylinder compressor. $29.99 usd
- MEXICOWANDERERExplorerSolutions not viable for a toad. Mexican gasolineras have air? Really? I carry a 50' 1/4" hose in Quicksilver. The air tanks and spitters are double capacity.
Llanteras are hard to find open after dark. But there is usually one within a few miles with an adjacent residence. Need to ask a local. Highways are shoulder less. The way to fill a low driver's side tire is to run the line out the passenger side, to the tire valve, clip on the fill tip, run like hell, and plug in the compressor. From the front bumper, when the tire looks full, yank the plug. Wait for a break in traffic then run like hell again. Unclip the nozzle and run. Start looking for a tire shop.
Darwin rules down here. Capillas ka-PEE-yahs (shrines) line the highway memorializing the people who didn't measure up. - fj12ryderExplorer IIIAn even easier solution is to buy a longer air hose. Then there's no worry about 14 gauge wire.
- SusanDallasExplorerAn easier solution is to go to Harbor Freight and buy a 5 gallon air tank for around $20. You can fill it at any gas station. I carry it with me when I travel.

OK Explanation. If a person owns a micro car the short power cord may only be six inches short to reach the furthest tire. For an RV, might as well make a cord to reach everywhere. Dang it, I lost the URL for a clip on adapter for inner duals.
Anyway, problems finding parts for 14 gauge wire. I refuse to try and power that kind of amperage through 50' of skinnier wire.
I solved the problem of reach on my trailer by installing power ports on both sides of the trailer. Tapped into the 6 gauge on one side and to the frig. On the other side. - MEXICOWANDERERExplorerMeant to put in enough air to get to a safer parking place to air up and get to a tire shop.
- rexlionExplorerSimple solution: buy a ViAir pump with alligator clips for direct attachment to battery. Extension cord is any set of jumper cables. I have never seen a ciggy plug tire pump that was not a waste of money, they are so slooooww.

And if you do feel the need for a 20' extension cord and don't know how'd you hook this compressor up to one, why does that make the compressor worthy of ridicule? I'm still lost.
