Changing the sat on the HR24 should not affect the seeking. The power inserter and the tracvision should be powered up before the HR24.
On my Tracvision M3DX. I use the HR24-100. My settings are the 18x20 triple LNB, International, and Multiswitch. However, 18" Round will work but not switch to Sat119 for locals (just stays on 101).
