My alternator connector is a molded piece with 3 ring terminals, 2 for the field, one for the ground, then there is 6awg extending from this molding going to the (+) stud with another ring terminal. I've another thicker cable on this stud too separate from the molded harness
Implementing the gizmo to allow easy return to Stock is high on the list. It might involve having the gizmo on the alternator plastic cap on the back. It might involve cutting off the molded connector entirely. The gizmo might get more heatsinking.
I don't have much free time to implement this right now, other projects are taking precedence, and I need new wire, and a 2K OHM 10 turn potentiometer, and will not be ordering them until next week at the earliest. I might buy the ford regulator connector and run new wires to the terminals inside. The V regulator might go behind the dashboard, not inside the engine compartment.
