I got this attenuator from one of my audio geek buddies. I think it will handle a lot of amps, the lands for the resistors are all large slugs of brass. Most likely, it was used as a control for some military application. Our friends, the Russians used a lot of high amperage gear in their radar and avionics. I haven't populated it with resistors as I haven't found a good application for it yet.
