LCI awning lubrication

I'm getting ready for 10 week cross country trip. When retracting the motor driven LCI awning yesterday, after cleaning it, the retracting speed was very slow and I heard some squeezing noise coming from the motor side. I want to lubricate the thing but I thought I would ask for tips here first. I did a Google search and searched here but didn't find anything. It extends fine, except for the squeek. This is the first time I opened it this season and with our heading to the Southwest we are going to need it.
