Leaf Blower for fridge, water heater and furnace cleaning

Today I was getting my TT ready for my first trip next weekend.

The fridge and water heater both had the usual collection of tree debris and dead bugs in the outside compartments, including in the propane burning areas

So I got my leaf blower out and it quickly blew all the debris out of the compartments. Stuff was flying everywhere.

For grins, I even used it on the Furnace outdoor vents and some stuff blew out of those also.

The Fridge and Water Heater still work on gas, so it looks like I didn't break anything. I probably should test the furnace too.

  • I prefer to use my shop vac and suck the debris out.

Hate having to disassemble burner areas cause I BLEW crud into them.
  • FOR SURE... leaf blower has many uses. I use mine to blow off the excess water when i wash it, then towel dry is much easier and quicker. Hey... they do it at the car wash on your car right?? :S
  • Good idea. I use a leaf blower in my wood shop to blow out all the saw dust, right out the door! Never considered using it on those outside compartments of my TT.
