One word of caution.. If you hire the electrican MEASURE THE VOLTAGE on that outlet before you plug in
You should see, depending on the pins, 120, 120 and zero. If you see 240 (anything over 150) he did it wrong.

Magnetek 6300.. No way do you leave it plugged in till you upgrade
Progressive 9200,, There is no upgrade so go right ahead.
