Someone ID'd this thing as a particular converter that sends transformer or switched power to the hotel loads and then has a 2nd circuit for powering the batteries? This would mean the converter has a RELAY somewhere that connects battery to load when AC is not present. Pray tell, what converter meaning what brand and model converter uses ISOLATED power supply output, to power a load?
A capacitor inserted into a SWITCHED power supply line has no effect. A capacitor inserted into a FERRORESONANT TRANSFORMER output does have an effect.
But then of course they could transistor switch a bleed off of the main power output just to feed the hotel loads and that makes less than zero sense.
So the DON'T CONNECT IT TO THE BLUE WIRE has me curious. Does this blue wire power feed ignore capacitors in stereo amplifiers? And other load capacitors?
