LED Lighting questions

Purchase my 1st set of LED's for the bedroom in our 07 Discovery.
4 lights where recessed into the cieling and I was able to find Bi pin type bulbs;
http://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/boat-rv-bi-pin/led-g4-lamp,-9-led-disc-type/1638/

Very Happy with the lights! I'm lucky I got it right the 1st time.

OK, now, the standard cheapie Bayonet type bulb for the ceiling (and under some cabnets). Some of these are single bulbs, like over the driver & passenger seat and the double lights, with 2 switches found under some of the cabnets.

I'm trying to determine what route I should go, purchased just the led bulbs like this;

Or replace the whole fixture with LED fixtures?
I want the white LED's not the yellow looking.

Also, Above the mirror are SIX of the bayonet LARGE round 12V bulbs
that I'd LOVE to replace but not sure what bulbs to use. Man do those bulbs suck the power! I could almost heat the interior with those bulbs!

Thanks

  • Call superbrightleds.com. They have excellent customer service and will help you select the correct leds. No need at all to replace the whole fixture.

    The 1141 bulbs in my RV have a BA15S base.:h

    The 1142 has a BA15D base.
  • The panels we use are the same westend does. Almost identical to color and brightness as the original bulbs. I did try some of the 10 for $17.99, now those had a yellowish tint to them.
  • I replaced my incandescent light bulbs with LEDs from eBay instead of replacing the fixtures. The bulbs from eBay were much less expensive, as westend has pointed out.

    I bought the warm white panels and cobs and am very happy with them. I suggest you buy a couple and see if you like them before buying many.
  • Good Lord, those are expensive. The same led panels can be found all over the online world, including E bay---w/free shipping for $2 a panel.
