Leveling Jack Fluid
Anyone know where to look for the hydraulic fluid that makes the leveling jacks go upon and down? I have a 2002 Sahara Safari M-3996. Its so frustrating trying to find any information that's help...

LACK OF FLUID IN THE JACK SYSTEM WILL NOT CAUSE RETRACTION PROBLEMS ON SPRING ASSISTED RETRACTION JACKS. I do NOT understand why people think lack of fluid will cause retraction problems. ONLY if you have Power DOWN and Power UP will lack of fluid may cause retraction problems. The OP could have Powergear/RVA/HWH jacks. The OP needs to look at his Dash Control panel and the system will state what brand. Until he posts what brand jacks NOBODY can give him any help at all. Doug
MOST jack systems use standard Dextron 2/3 ATF. HWH fluid is Dextron without the red dye added. NO jack system uses Hydraulic fluid.
