OK they used the 9100L in the 40xxLIK. It says it is factory adjustable for voltage like time2roll mentioned. That might just be an internal pot you can get at yourself? (There was a converter, forget which brand, there was a thread about years ago that had three pots in it, one for each stage--PD or WFCO?)
This blurb at the bottom does show how you can charge several 12v Lis at once, which answers a concern earlier in this thread about balancing between batteries, not just the internal balance of each battery for higher voltage banks
