Lifepo4 charging needs monitoring of the amps as much as the voltage. Full -even though you don't need to be full very often, is determined by the amp acceptance rate @ a specific voltage. Using voltage only will get into the "knees" of the charge/discharge voltage graph -causing slow but sure deterioration of your cells.
Floating -in the Lead Acid sense of things is also a cell killer....
Best overall action with LifePo4 is >-charge>-discharge>-charge>-discharge.
For LIFEPO4 to work and give long, stable service you need to forget the Lead Acid battery routines.....
