I think it’s not all that uncommon that in the course of what may become ‘the heated moment in debate’ a persons passion’s can sometimes get the best of them (or maybe a momentary loss at a better way to express one's self...), something that at one point or another has surely happened to all of us (Trust that I’m an EXPERT on glass houses...ugg!!)..
But in the spirit of fairness, a minor lapse in the heat of the moment should not define the individual, and though I occasionally disagree with a few here (and frown severely on their ‘wrong-think’ - lol), recall that as ‘techno-nerds’ we all have much more in common than otherwise...I occasionally am forced to remind myself that whether of the Left or the Right, a bird has to have two wings to fly, so try to view an individual with some humility and per their rightful and well demonstrated persona :) So in these regards, please grant me my undeserved share of absolution!!
