*2 x 6V GC batteries in series (~200 Ah total)
*2 x 140 12V solar panels mounted fixed and flat
*Morningstar Tristar PWM controller
*1500 watt PSW inverter
*OEM WFCO converter (55 amp)
Morningstar is fully programmable to almost any profile by using the MSView software.
1500 inverter can pull 150 amps... make sure the LFP has the discharge rating or you need 2+ in parallel.
WFCO is fine. If it fails boost mode (14.4v) when expected... hit the MW for 10 seconds. WFCO can be replaced later if needed. Will still charge very well to 13.6 volts and the solar can do the rest. There is not that much capacity between 13.6 and 14.6 volts even though it seems like a lot. Capacity to voltage is not linear by rather logarithmic.
There is no special "metric" or "lithium" electricity. get the voltage right and you are good to go.
