Reading over a 3 tons response and re-evaluating my conception, I see what he means about not worrying about reaching 100% SOC. It is the maintaining at 100% that is stressful. Re-reading some of the literature that I had gone over before and I realize they were saying this as well. I was just interpreting it to mean avoid fully charging, which was not correct.
I've also been told that I'm way overthinking this! And I agree, but it would be a new toy and a rather expensive one so the engineer in me wants to go over all the data. :-)
