That is kind of the point I was indirectly trying to make. I am not sure who would care if there is a specific case where it is 'only' 3 times faster to charge as opposed to 4 or 5 times faster.
This reminds me of the whole MPPT vs PWM discussion from several years ago, where there were a few holdouts arguing that under a very specific set of circumstances PWM was actually more efficient than MPPT. Only in that case we were arguing over a 20%-30% difference in performance, now we appear to be arguing over a 300% - 400% difference in performance.
