We have a 60 watt light fixture, that has never put out enough light.
I want to replace the bulb with a 100 watt equivalent LED. The LED draws 15 watts. She agreed to allow this if you guys concurred. Otherwise shes convinced I'll start a fire.

no problem but pay attention to the lumen output of the 100-watt led. lumen is a measure of brightness. you're goung to want the highest number of lumens you can find.
