Looking For Cheeeep DC to DC Bucker
Low dropout (12-volts to 9.6-10.0 volts). Senseless to pay $8.00 for a twenty watt fixture. No, I do not wish to keep a master power supply on 24/7 Thanks!

I use it to limit voltage to a 180mm 1.3 amp computer fan, the Silverstone AP182. Its hub would get stinky hot at full speed and voltages over 12.8v, so I limit it to 11 volts and all is well.
It has had power attached for at least 18 months now, and has been passing current for at least 12 of those months. Right now the display is lit up, but the fan is switched off.
I bought a few other cheaper and smaller such as linked above, ones that do not have the voltage display and require wires be soldered, but I have not employed them anywhere as of yet.
