Did you read the Renogy controller manual? Did you set up the parameters, i.e.: battery type, ah size and limits for charging? You may be on float!
Scroll thru and see what the panel output is, should be 18-20volts and 10-11 amps in full sun.
I have the ViewStar and it is able to equalize, I don't think yours will.
