The thing about the propane fittings is that they're RV specific and you get a shutoff valve on the female whether you like it or not which makes it bulkier and heavier.
One problem I've run into is that we use the quick connect fitting on the TT so much it's not working properly and needs replacing.
I just put a T at the end of the low pressure pipe and added another LP connector, and upstream under the pass through cut and threaded the gas pipe and added a T with yet a 3rd low pressure port. easy to have firepit and gas stove running at the same time
