Before you toss the old microwave, open it up and check it out. My 25 year old MW died and I was having a tough time finding a new one that would fit in the opening. I opened it up, and after replacing a fuse and a capacitor it's back to working like new. Cost about $15-$20
It's going in the big can. Never been too impressed with the Magic Chef Micros.

 Hope it lasts!
- LITEPHILExplorerI may have jumped the gun here. I took the Magic Chef out and it's a free standing unit and seems the front fascia has four straps that keeps the unit in place. I decided to buy a Hamilton Beach unit for $69.00 and relocate the straps on the inner fascia trim to hold it in place. A little larger gaps top and bottom but I think it will work well.
Thank you all for your help here and I guess I should have investigated a little deeper prior to posting but very good information.

You may find this link interesting on why the M/W failed and how he installed the replacement. Doug

The top is the replacement and the bottom is the required trim kit.
The webpage for the microwave also has the trim kit at the bottom.
