Yep. I used the ARC because thats what I have. But different FW loaded in the various chargers have very different functionality on the same remote, so it would be worth a call to the factory to know for sure. I had my 2012 exchanged about 1 year after install from a transformer problem and there were significant changes on the remote, mostly monitoring functionality. Thats why I said 'IF'

PS- IF you don't have the BMK, consider having your friend bring that back as well. Its worth the $$
