I do not understand. Unless thermal issues interfere, the AGM should charge to 99 or 1 of ampere hour capacity at 14.4 volts potential. When amperage decreases to 10 of amp hour capacity of the bank, the battery should be more or less 95 charged even for the lowest Chinese grade of AGM. With a Concorde battery the percentage rises to 99.
Maybe someone can explain what the exercise is attempting to accomplish :)
Thank you
There's no exercise here, nothing to accomplish. Just sharing my observations on a charge cycle as I recall Don having trouble getting his Yamaha + Magnum setup to charge at 122 vac input, or was it without a load on the ac, something like that.

Did you happen to note the amps to the battery at 86 SOC? PT wants to know that for calculating amps per 100AH of capacity with AGMs to compare with the figure he has for Wets
I'll try to make a note of that tomorrow. I was out on a morning walk with the dog for most of the charging cycle. It took about 2.5 hrs to go from 70 pct to 98 pct.
I discontinued at 98 pct, as I got tired of smelling the generator. There's no wind today, and the Yamaha gets stinky when it's a super low idle in Eco mode... I think it's the fuel stabilizer making the exhaust stink
On a side note... I have a little tool back in the lab that is a WiFi RS485 decoder. One of these days I need to plug it into the Magnum so I can record and chart all the data it produces, without buying the $250 Magnaweb interface.
UGH what a pain in the arse it is not being able to use the percent sign. I really need to stop using rv.net
