This morning I disconnected AC input in the middle the bulk charge; 85 amps DC output from the Magnum's charger. I think you have a lot warmer weather up north than I have here in the south as the fan is barely running while charging, however it did continue running for a few minutes after I disconnected the AC. Ambient temperature is 68f, about 20c?
