Even load SUPPORT is misleading. The function of inverter paralleling is to assist a generator in the STARTUP of a load.
Such points as DUTY CYCLE must be applied toward the inverter. X time for X watts of paralleling support. Boosting startup is supposed to take place in seconds, not minutes or hours, regardless of the size of the battery bank. Check with OEM if you question this.
Come on folks, the info is out there just click the link above......absolutely no limit on load support duration mentioned in the manual for hybrid magnum inverters. It is basically a grid tie type inverter, used in the opposite manner.
instead of the in coming AC adding to the inverter loads on high demand, the inverter adds to the AC loads.
If hundreds of thousands of houses can do this why are people having such a hard time understanding that it can work in the opposite way on an RV?
Boosting is a whole different scenario covering the start up loads which you allude too which the magnum can do as well when on battery only.
