Instead of the threesome of electrical experts high-fiving each other (!), why not explain in clear terms what you think the Magnum hybrid is doing, other than what it's been quoted by Magnum as doing?
My understanding is, if you have limited shore power (p1) and a Magnum hybrid capacity (p2), then you can supply AC power equal to (p1+(p2x(magnum power factor)). This until the battery capacity drops to the lower limit, and not before.
