Magnum MS2812 - Meter vs BMK Voltage/Amps values?
Magnum MS2812, BMK-Meter, Temp Sensor, AGS, SBC set of components. With aI believe the ARC-50 Remote (Sorry, a bit fuzzy memory tonight from too much Easter food:)!).
When accessing the Remote Meter (ARC-50 or RC50, again, believe it's the ARC-50.). I have a few selection options to display different data. But I get confused as to why what appears to be the same data, from two different menu choices that I thought were displaying the same data - are different?
-If I choose the Meter option. It will show the current Magnum Charger status of Bulk/Absorb/Float/Full Charge (Or maybe Resting (Probably confusing with the MidNite Classic Display when the Charger sees the Battery Bank as fully charged.).
Say this is showing Absorb, 14.4V an 10 A.
-If I then select the BMK Meter, It may 14.38V. Turn the knob again, and it may show 13 A.
I'm assuming the 14.38V rounds up/downwhen on the Meter display single tenth of a digit vs two dight read outs of Voltage?
But why are the Amps different?
Very noticeable larger differential at higher Amps values. 83 Amps on Meter, may show 101 Amps on BMK Meter 'Amps In' display.
So what are the readings of the ARC-50 (Or, RC-50) Remote's indicating on Meter vs BMK displays for Volts and Amps?
(I at first assumed (Do that a lot lately, and I admit I am probably living up to the old saying on 'assume' and 'me':)@!), that the Meter was Actual Amps minus Coach loads. (Coach load of say 15A, and positive Charge Amps of say 45A - would display as a 'Net' of 30Amps.) But some of the Differentials of Amps on the Meter vs BMK- Amps In displays - are way too high for me to explain Coach Amps Loads?)
I don't feel alone. As I did many searches here, and elsewhere, on just what is being displayed under Meter vs BMK... Others also seem to not 'Get it!'.
Does anyone know? And yes, not shy on calling Magnum Tech Support - and have always had positive conversations with them... But, it may take sometime to get into the lineup for a Monday AM call with questions:)!
Best to all, and TIA for any info sharing....
