main breaker breaks when i shut the generator off.

when i shut the generator off main breaker breaks every time.
i have a kill switch and it kills everything, even the dash cigarette lighter.

my motor home is a
37 foot 2000 itasca suncruiser

i am asking for some guidance on where i should look to solve this.
