Making AC filters yourself?
My roof air has two long intakes on the bottom of the unit. The foam sponge is worn out and has a big hole in it - hence it doesn't filter the air. Wondering if there are any creative self-cut filte...

I found foam replacement A/C filter material at Walmart in the weather stripping section of the hardware department. Cut to fit and I got two filters from each piece. I think the cost was about $5.
