Manual Charging
With my Iota seemingly on the fritz, I'm thinking about replacing it with an 80A version (Model S-1200-12) of my MeanWell from http://www.12voltpowersupplies.us. I've never done a fully manual charge ...

Buy a pair of the 40 amp MW. and I'll work with you step by step to make a blow up resistant two stage converter. One runs on a timer, and is set to 14.8 volts the second MW is set to 13.6 volts and is the default maintainer.
