Our electric heater is much quieter than the propane furnace.
The furnace fan noise can be an issue in smaller trailers.
In cold weather with shorepower, we use both. The propane furnace comes on a lot less frequently, but that seems sufficient to protect the underbelly plumbing. We have other issues when it gets that cold though.
