Anyhow OP are you camping close to Daleville or there abouts. I don't see where the cold may be a problem. i lived there off and on when young and assigned to Fort Rucker, AKA Mother Rucker.
I am not familiar with the OP, but Dave; I think your skin is a little thicker than you are implying, regarding Gde's comment.:) I think he was just adding to a well meant point.
Any who...Like Dave, most of us will use an electric heater to supplement our furnace. Nothing wrong there, but certainly as temps get low, you need to use that furnace to protect tanks and plumbing.
