I used a lot of LP traveling in the cold a few years back, and gasoline. 0F was warm for some locations... the plains states were well below.
Propane furnace was left on all the time, while camping and driving. Generator was running almost all the time while driving and when parked without electric hookup. Necessary to keep the tank heaters and heat tape active, as well as offset heavy drain from the furnace blower.
Battling the elements isn't cheap but it is fun. Winter adds a unique element to picturesque locations.
