In our case this winter, using the formula to figure heating cost of electric vs propane ---- the propane is cheaper to use. Unless propane reaches 4.24 per gallon, it is cheaper than the electric here in southern arizona. It's not always cheaper to use the electric heaters. You can do a google search to find the formula and figure out which is better for you. That is of course if you are paying for your electric usage.
