Mascerator Pump
Just one question; why not use the sealand mascerator pump? It can run dry without harm? Seems like that is a good solution for RV's...

Might be the fact that it isn't a 'macerator' pump (grinds up waste with an impeller) and is a 'bellows' pump (only handle solids up to 1/2" diameter) discharging thru a 1 1/2" line.
