So the problem might be over-heating because of a lack of current-limiting?
Sounds like if there's a problem it would occur after some time. They're not talking about a flash and smoke.
I might just carefully try it when we get back to the trailer, and monitor the temperatures, current and voltage. Don't think the Meanwell can supply more current than the EPSolar can handle. But who knows?
