MH Gas Furnace always runs.

I have a 1998 Pace Arrow MH, which has 2 heaters with the name Attwood on the motor. One day I go out and the heater is running wide open in the summer, I pull a wire off what I think was a circuit breaker mounted on the motor, again it was fan and heat running. A few months later the heater on the other side decides to do the same thing. My thermostat doesn't have a off/on. You just select what you want and the temp that you desire. Any help would be appreciated and since this is my first time here I hope to be able to get back and find any comments. Thanks in advance!

  • ALL RV furnace tstats have an ON/OFF. If you can, post a pic of the wall tstat and I will show you where and how the On/Off works. Even with the On /Off ON all the time, if the inside temp of the RV is higher than 60 degrees and the tstat temp control is at a hi temp setting, the furnace fan and the burner should NOT have come on. I wonder if you have an aftermarket home type wall tstat. Is there a brand name on the wall tstat? If so, post that brand. Doug
